NGO Matsuri (festival) on 5th September

Here comes the festival season - the NGO Matsuri (festival) in Ueno 2010 will be held on Sunday 5th September!!

The event introduces you to eight international NGOs, including Oxfam Japan, that offer you various opportunities to get involved in global issues.

The NGO Matsuri last year was a large success, with as many as 190 visitors that enjoyed learning about NGO activities.
This year's programme includes workshops and exhibitions by the eight participating NGOs, talk events, ¡ÈCandle Night¡É – a free-discussion forum with NGO workers, and a many more!

Deeply informative and yet infused with fun and exciting atmosphere of a japanese summer festival, this one-day event opens your eyes to limitless possibilities for you to contribute to achieve the better world!
