How poor is Latin America? Approximately one in three people is poor.
On the other hand, two of the ten richest men in the world are Latin Americans.
In this workshop, we will discuss what are the causes of this great
disparity and what are the perspectives of Latin America among social
inequality.

The National Olympics Memorial Youth Centre will now be the permanent home of
our Oxfam Japan IVG Awareness Workshops. Our new location will be held in a
spacious room and boasts a variety of modern equipment. Being only a 3
minute walk from Sangubashi Station (3 minutes away from Shinjuku Station),
it is close to all major JR lines.

"The International Volunteer Group (IVG) offers English workshops for people from all walk of life who are interested in learning about global issues, what Oxfam is doing and how each of us can make a change.
Both volunteering instructors and participants do not only enjoy friendly and active workshops but also support Oxfam in a meaningful way.
It is also a good chance for non-native English speakers to practice English skills in a fun and interesting way. Workshop fee goes totally to support Oxfam."
